Watch the June 2010 Sparkplug Talks

The video of our June 2010 Sparkplug Talks is up and you can check it out on the Fab Lab ABQ channel of Vimeo.

We had a great time, the turn out was awesome, and from what we've heard, you had a great time as well! Being part of Savor Week made it a busy but exciting week. We hosted a movie night, got to hang out with our friends at Trillion Space, and were honored to co-host a Bone Making Event with Naomi Natale to support the One Million Bones Project

The purpose of the Sparkplug Talks is to introduce people to some of the interesting and important projects that are going on in our community. We think you'll agree that the speakers for this event fill that purpose.

Consider Lorin Edwin Parker and his steam powered synthesizer:

Or consider what Creative ABQ is trying to do for the Arts Community of Albuquerque:

There are more Talks available on our Vimeo Channel but one of the most powerful and heartfelt talks of the evening came from Naomi Natale, presenting on her project: One Million Bones.
